All Age Communion
Worship is for all, regardless of age. We are currently looking at how we might improve our provision for young families. At All Saints, our main service depends on the Sunday of the month. From January 2017 on the fifth Sunday of the month we are trying a shorter, simpler communion service to embrace all-ages. In addition, we are re-starting a small Sunday School for our younger members on the first and third Sundays of the months when the 10.30am service is Holy Communion.
This will meet at other celebrations of communion in the vestry following the Gospel reading and then re-join the congregation at the administration. During the year the PCC will give consideration to the admission of baptised children to communion prior to confirmation. We welcome feed back from families with younger children, as we appreciate the difficulties presented by the building and would like to overcome them.
